The day my sister called to tell me she was pregnant

It was one of the hardest calls of both of our lives.

And as I sat there bawling on my bedroom floor

I said NO MORE.

There had to be more to this infertility journey than constant crying and heartache.

And I was determined to figure out what that was.

So I started opening up and letting myself be seen in this hard season.

I started processing the hard feelings I had been avoiding for so long.

I started developing different tools and coping mechanisms to help make this journey easier.

And with practice and consistency, I started shifting from feeling like a victim of my infertility journey to feeling more empowered in it.

I focused on the things I could control and let go of the rest, and I learned to stay present rather than living 10 steps ahead in the future worrying about the next thing that could go wrong.

And so that’s what led me here with you.

Over the last few years, I learned to invite more joy into my life.

I learned to shift my mindset to a more positive one.

I learned to accept my infertility and IVF journeys and find happiness in my present moment without knowing how my story would end.

And over the last two years, I’ve supported two dozen clients in doing the same.

(even in the middle of a global pandemic that upended their infertility treatments and lives)

My clients have described our time together as not only a game changer for their infertility journeys but their lives.

They reported having more good days than bad ones, finding renewed hope in their infertility journey, and experiencing way more joy in ALL aspects of their lives which led to things like improved relationships with their partners, friends, and families, getting better sleep at night, living life on their terms (rather than doing it they way they thought they “should”), and feeling like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders.

And, to top it off, most of them are getting ready to welcome their miracle babes into their families this year feeling better about their infertility journeys and themselves than ever before.

Infertility can be a long and difficult journey, but it doesn't have to be one that drains your joy and peace.

Through coaching, I have helped many women like you find renewed hope and deep, satisfying joy, even in the midst of this challenging season.

I would be honored to support you on your own journey towards reclaiming joy and peace.

Ready to no longer feel like a victim of your infertility journey and to take the next step towards more peace and joy on your path to motherhood?

When Abbey was getting ready to start IVF, she knew she wanted emotional support from someone who had personally been there before.

She had previously done therapy, and while she found it helpful for getting her anxiety to baseline, she also knew it wasn't what she wanted or needed in this next chapter.

What Abbey ultimately realized she wanted was to learn to shift her mindset and find joy in the process rather than default to worst-case scenario thinking.

This is what led her to coaching and working with me (even though she wasn't familiar with coaching before we started working together).

And thus, Abbey’s journey to reclaiming her joy through infertility began.

Here's what Abbey had to say about the power of coaching:

When asked what advice she would give to someone thinking about getting support on their infertility journey, here’s what Abbey had to say:

“Give yourself the bravery or the oomph to just try something even if it’s just one time. Give it a try. Because, I think that was part of my issue…I did not know what I needed. And if I hadn’t given it a try then I wouldn’t have discovered the joy of a coach while going through IVF and the support that I gained.”

Abbey's experience is just one example of how coaching can help you reclaim your joy and thrive through infertility, IVF, and beyond.

If you're tired of feeling alone, overwhelmed, or stuck in a negative mindset, coaching can help you shift your perspective, find joy in the journey, and feel supported every step of the way.

 So if you’re ready to…

  • No longer feel alone on this crazy roller coaster of a journey and have someone support and witness you through the ups and downs so you can feel fully held instead of constantly having to put on a strong, brave face for everyone in your life

  • Reduce the overwhelm by having someone alongside you whose been through it, gets it, and can normalize all the feelings on this journey and personalize an emotional wellness experience so you can focus on what truly matters and let go of the rest

  • Shift into a more positive mindset so that you can actually see the silver lining rather than constantly feeling exhausted and like you’re stuck in a negative spiral

  • Learn to accept your infertility journey so that you feel more relaxed, learn to control what you can and focus on growing your family while also enjoying life in the meantime

  • Feel optimistic and hopeful again so you can find the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other while you wait for your miracle

  • Find happiness where you are so that the outcome of this journey doesn’t ultimately dictate how good your life does or doesn’t get to be

  • Reclaim your joy so that you can thrive through infertility, IVF and beyond

Ready to reclaim your joy and find support and guidance on your infertility journey?

One of my clients, Sandi, struggled with infertility for three years before she began working with me. Here's what she had to say about her experience...

My journey into the infertility world was a little different than most. I was blessed with the opportunity to have three amazing sons easily and with no issues.  An experience I quickly realized I took for granted.  Fast forward through difficult times and life and I found myself in a beautiful new marriage with the hopes of adding to our family.  My experience quickly looked very different.

After almost three years, countless medicated cycles, 4 failed IUIs, one retrieval, a miscarriage, a failed transfer, and a pandemic that delayed my next retrieval I found myself in a very low, dark place.

Over the years I held it together watching the people around me celebrate their pregnancies and the birth of their children what felt like over and over again. I faked my happiness on the outside while I felt completely broken on the inside and I knew I needed help. I battled a lot with the guilt associated with feeling the incredible hurt of infertility when I knew I was blessed to have my boys.  The push-pull of the pain of failed attempts mixed with the happiness that existed in my life was difficult for me to grasp and manage.

Michelle immediately helped me get to the root of my stress and provided real, actionable, and meaningful steps to work myself into a completely different mind space.

I continued to work with Michelle through the re-opening of our clinic, my second retrieval, and through a second surgery.  Every step of the way I could feel myself gain more confidence in taking emotional control back over my journey.  Instead of feeling terrified to move onto the next step I am full of excitement and hope knowing I have a plan to get through no matter what the outcome. I had this mentality of not allowing myself to get too hopeful in an effort to “guard my heart” and in doing so I was consuming myself with negative thoughts and fear.

One of the most impactful moments was when Michelle asked me if the pain of a loss or failed transfer would be any more if I allowed myself to experience the joy and be hopeful.  This simple thought process changed my entire world.

I am currently prepping for my third FET and I truly feel like I am starting from a completely difference place, like I am starting this journey all over again.

Michelle is real.  She has been through this.  She knows the struggles firsthand and none of her guidance and support ever felt superficial or disingenuous.  I could not be more happy and grateful for my relationship I built with Michelle and the courage and opportunity to thrive even through the hardest times with her support.  Investment into yourself and your mental health is always worth it.  In this case it was absolutely priceless.

With all the Love and Respect,

Sandi Gagnon

These are just a few of the many women I've had the privilege of working with . They all came to me feeling overwhelmed and stuck, and all of them were able to find more joy and peace through our work together. If you're ready to transform your IVF journey, I would be honored to work with you too 🤍

Hi friend, I’m Michelle.

An Infertility/IVF Support Coach and your IVF journey bestie.

With a Master’s Degree in Human Development, 10 years of Higher Education experience, 3 rounds of IVF, 6 years of fertility treatments, 3 IVF babies, 3 pregnancy losses, and over three years of serving clients through their infertility and IVF journeys I’ve learned a thing or two about emotional wellness and navigating the emotional roller coaster of infertility.

Finding joy in this journey literally changed my life.

I know firsthand what it feels like to be entirely consumed by infertility and how freeing it is to finally feel in control and like yourself again.

More than anything though, I want you to know you are not alone and you don’t have to do this hard thing alone either.

If you’re struggling with infertility, going through IVF, or anywhere in between, you owe it to yourself to see what a happier, more joyful version of this journey could look like.

To experience the peace, freedom, re-invigorated hope and belief that something beautiful is waiting for you on the other side of this experience, no matter what happens.

Should you decide to take me up on this magical goodness, I promise it’ll be hard not to smile and see this journey differently after our time together.

I can’t wait to create a more Joyful Journey with you.

Sending so much love your way 💕

Michelle

Ready to change the trajectory of your infertility journey and your life?

“Do it!!! You’ll never regret investing in yourself! Michelle made me a better version of me and in the positive mind space I needed to truly experience the joy of finally welcoming our miracle without any baggage!”

— Sandi, thrIVF Client

+ What is infertility/IVF coaching?

Infertility/IVF coaching is a way to get support and mentorship on your infertility journey from someone whose been there before and gets it.

It can help you reduce the overwhelm, feel less alone, shift into a more positive mindset (without bypassing the hard feels), and make what is otherwise a really difficult process easier and more joy-filled.

+ How is coaching different from therapy?

They're actually quite complimentary and even have some overlap. Many of my clients use therapy to help them get to baseline with managing anxiety, coping with grief after loss, and PTSD from infertility (or have previoulsy done therapy in other seasons of their life).

But when it comes to getting support in their infertility journeys, my clients find that what they're actually craving and desiring is companionship and support from someone who gets it and can help them see or do things differently and that is often when they make their way to coaching. Some continue doing therapy alongside coaching while others choose coaching after feeling complete with therapy.

Therapy also has a tendancy to be more focused on the past and present, while coaching tends to be more focused on the present and future. Both can be super supportive spaces and at the end of the day it's about figuring out what kind of support (and which therapist/coach) is best for you.

+ What happens on a coaching call?

Coaching calls are a space to feel seen and just process/digest whatever is coming up for you. The topics of our coaching calls are often client led based on what's feeling most salient at the moment but if you ask any of my clients, I'm also very willing and don't shy away from asking questions to help you get to the root of things and uncover what's going to be most helpful for you during our time together.

My job as your coach is to listen and reflect back what I'm hearing and to help you get to your truth, while making you feel super seen and supported (because it's basically my super power).

Our coaching calls can also help you get clarity in decisions + next steps, help you feel less alone, and give you a space to process/release any big emotions that are coming up for you that you may not have another outlet for (since it's avoiding and holding in these emotions that often leaves us feeling stuck, overwhelmed and spinning out).

+ How is coaching different from talking to a friend?

Many of my clients are surprised to find how freeing it is to talk to someone who is completely removed from their social circle.

As a coach I can provide an unbiased, third party opinion and since we don't have a pre-existing relationship you don't have to worry about any of what you share impacting our relationship.

You also never have to worry about being a burden (the best perk of getting paid support) because I am literally here to hold space for you in a way that many of our friends and family can't even if they want to.

+ Is what I share with you confidential?

While I will never share any identifying information about you without your prior consent, it's important for you to know that our relationship as coach-client is not considered a legally confidential one. That being said, integrity in any relationship is really important to me and privacy and discretion is really important to so many of my clients so know that I will do everything I can to maintain your privacy and confidentiality both during and after our time together.

+ How much does The Joyful Journey program cost?

The investment for The Joyful Journey is currently $1850 (paid in full) or three monthly installments of $647.

+ I really want to work with you but I’m not sure I can afford to with all the expenses of my IVF treatments

If you’re feeling all the heart pulls, but money is the thing keeping you from diving into The Joyful Journey I want you to ask yourself/journal on this: “What am I worried will happen if I spend this money getting support?”

Sometimes money really is a problem and you just can’t make it work. But more often than not, “I can’t afford it” is the thing we say when all the other fears around deservingness and enoughness start coming up for us.

Things like “Am I really allowed to spend money on myself?” “Do I deserve to have support?” “Shouldn’t I be able to just handle this on my own?”

And if that’s what’s actually coming up for you, here’s what I can tell you after working with over two dozen clients through their infertility/IVF journeys -

You’re never going to regret investing in support. Even if your next cycle is the one that works you’re not going to be like “Man, I really wish I had saved this money and didn’t feel so great through this process.” In fact, most of my clients will tell you they wish they’d gotten support sooner and that it was ultimately THE THING that got them through what otherwise felt like an impossible journey.

So if deep down you know you want/need support here’s your permission to spend money on the only sure thing in this process (you) 🤍

+ I’m nervous about talking to my partner about The Joyful Journey, any tips or advice for having this conversation?

This is true for the IVF shots and it’s also true about this conversation. The fear is always worse than the thing itself so don’t overthink it and just have the conversation. Worst case they say, “No, I don’t support that.” And then you get to decide what comes next. Best case they say “Yes” and then you just need to choose to trust yourself enough to do the dang thing ;)

The other piece of advice I’ll give around having this conversation is this: know what your intention is going into the conversation. Are you asking for permission? Support? Their two cents on whether you should do it or not? Just be clear going into the conversation what you want to get out of it and see where it goes.

And the last thing I’ll say, which I’ve seen time and again with my clients, is that by you getting infertility/IVF support outside of your relationship, it takes the pressure off your relationship, which means your partner gets to just be your partner. Which means you'll get to spend more time enjoying each other rather than stressing out about infertility/IVF (since you'll have an outlet for that!). So really at the end of the day BOTH of you will benefit from our time working together :)

And if you want more personalized support around having this conversation with your partner schedule a free call and let's chat. Happy to support you through this and share a resource I have specifially for partners to help them better understand the benefits of coaching support.

+ What if this program doesn’t work for me?

While I can’t guarantee specific results with this program what I can tell you from my own personal experience and from working with my clients is that anytime you go into something with an open mind and a willingness to see things differently, it’s almost impossible not to get something out of it and see positive results.

It all starts with choosing to trust yourself and knowing that you can learn something from anything. This is why my clients have so much success with shifting their mindsets and learning to thrive. Because they are ready for change in their life and they are willing to do the work to get there. This means showing up to our calls (which we both know you'll do), being honest about where they are, reaching out when they’re struggling, and doing their homework assignments (which again, we both know you'll do).

This is also why I’m so confident in the transformation that is available to you and the positive impact that this program can have on both your infertility journey and your life. Because I KNOW that when you show up with an open mind and are willing to do the work, the possibilities are endless and you, friend, become unstoppable. And I love watching that magic go down :)

+ I’m not currently going through IVF can I still do this program?

Absolutely! If you are currently struggling with the emotional roller coaster of infertility in any capacity, then you can 100% benefit from this program.

In fact, several of my clients have worked with me while not actively going through treatments and it helped them keep their sanity in that season of waiting plus it helped them lay a positive foundation before starting (or restarting) treatments so they were in a much better headspace going into it. (This can make SUCH a huge difference and is one of the best things you can do for yourself!)

+ What's the cancellation policy if I get pregnant before we start working together?

There is a non-refundable retainer fee of $150 to hold your spot in The Joyful Journey but otherwise you can cancel the contract at any time. And if it feels supportive, we could easily pivot to supporting you through early pregnancy so that you could actually enjoy that season since sometimes that can be hard after struggling with infertility and/or loss. I've had several of my clients extend their initial contracts to get support through their first trimster because that's what felt best for them. At the end of the day it's totally up to you and what feels best. And if what feels good is choosing to walk away, your deposit will have just been even more evidence to the universe that you're ready to make yourself a priority, get support through this journey and have this dang baby already ;)

+ How does the program work if I live internationally?

All of the calls take place via zoom so as long as you have access to the internet and your phone or computer you can easily participate in the calls! And for support between calls we use Voxer which is a free text/voice app so again as long as you have a phone/computer and access to the internet you should be good to go :)

+ Do you take insurance?

I wish I could but unfortunately I can't. I do offer payment plans to help make the cost of working together more manageable but I also know that sometimes it's just not feasible, in which case I would encourage you to keep an eye out for other programs and opportunities to work together. Trust that the right thing will come along for you at the right time.

+ Is it ok if I cry on our calls?

It is absolutely ok to cry on our calls! So many of my clients have cried on our initial call together and will cry again during our time working together. I think it's so healthy and good to get all the feelings off our chest and for us to not have to hold the weight of this process alone. And I'm so grateful to hold space for my clients to bring their full selves - the good, the bad and the messy. All of it is welcome.

+ Why did you become an Infertility/IVF Support Coach?

Honestly, to provide people with what I wish I had had in my own infertlity journey. When we started IVF I didn't personally know anyone who had been through it. I didn't realize how much of an emotional roller coaster that growing our family could be. And I spent a whole lot of time suffering in silence because of it.

When I realized there was another more empowering and joyful way of doing infertility/IVF I knew I had to share it with folks and become the person I wish I'd had. If I could just help one other person feel less alone on their infertility journey I knew it would be worth it. Getting to walk alongside you in this journey, helping you shift your mindset and watching you thrive through this season means the world to me. I can't wait to do this thing with you and cheer you on every step of the way!

+ I'm ready to snag my Joyful Journey spot! How do I pay you?

If we've already chatted about The Joyful Journey being a good fit for you, you can send me an email at michelle@thrivethroughivf.com and I'll send you a proposal with your Client Agreement and invoice to make your first payment and secure your spot! I can't wait to walk alongside you and help you create a more joyful journey!

+ What if I have additional questions?

If it's a quick logistical question you can always email me at michelle@thrivethroughivf.com. If the question is more in depth or you want to explore if The Joyful Journey is right for you, I would encourage you to schedule a free call using this link here.

Alright, friend. If you’ve made it this far and you still haven’t scheduled a free discovery call. Here’s your permission to stop scrolling, click here (even if there’s a part of you that doesn’t feel ready) and take that next step to explore working together, which we both know you want to (because, let’s be real, otherwise, you would not be here at the bottom of this sales page).

Permission to set aside any brain chatter that says “But I can’t afford it.” “I don’t have time for anything else.” “I don’t want to waste her time getting on a call and then say no.” “Maybe I’ll just wait and see what happens after my next _______ (retrieval, transfer, appointment, etc.) Seriously, whatever your brain is telling you right now permission to ignore it and listen to your heart instead.

Deep down we both know you want support on your infertility journey because otherwise you wouldn’t be here. So permission to stop waiting. To stop making excuses.
